  • The following form is intended for all General Inquiries to the Bylaw Enforcement team. 

    All complaints should be sent through the Bylaw Complaint form.

      E.g. depositing fill, unauthorized residences, non-farm use events and construction of buildings for non-farm use activity.

      *Transportation and Infrastructure - (MOTI West Kootenay District):

       E.g. roads or right-of-ways.

      *Environmental Health Officer- (Interior Health):

      They are responsible for regulating and monitoring many public facilities and those aspects of the environment.

      E.g. drinking water systems (not private), on-site sewage systems with apparent failure, food service and processing, pools and hot tubs, and personal service establishments.

      E.g. pollutants for streams and fish habitats, conflict with wildlife and disruption of riparian areas.

      E.g. reporting a spill and water licences (well or creek water source).

      E.g. misconduct involving wildlife, ecosystems, heritage sites or natural resources.

      E.g. potentially unauthorized mining activity, unsafe mining practices, general mine site inquiries/complaints, permit status inquiries/updates.
