This grant will reimburse funds to support FireSmart activities including hours spent coordinating events, providing education and reimbursement for time spent completing and submitting application materials. Examples of eligible expenses are volunteer hours spent organizing or working at events, renting equipment such as woodchippers and tools or contracted labour. The grant cannot provide funds to purchase tools, goods, or food & beverage. Ex: purchase of a woodchipper, hand tools, fire suppression equipment, etc.
