Personal information you provide in this form is collected pursuant to section 26 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

This information will be used for the purpose of applying for an expression of interest in the Regional District of Central Kootenay Fire Service.

Minimum Requirements for Volunteer Firefighters

 All firefighters are required to possess the following minimum requirements to volunteer with the Regional District Central Kootenay Fire Service:

• Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Reside within a Regional District Central Kootenay Fire Protection Area
• Have a valid Canadian driver's licence
• Be medically fit
• Pass a criminal record check
• Be willing to commit a minimum of two hours per week of training at their local fire hall
